Gernot is an international expansion strategist with 15+ years’ experience scaling tech ventures across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. He partners with founders and investors to design and execute market entry strategies that drive sustainable growth. With 500+ expansion journeys under his belt, gained valuableexperience and insights into the topics of international expansion, scaling, team & hiring, and fundraising.
Arjan has been active in early stage financing and M&A since late 1999. He has worked for both boutiques and corporates, specialising in tech and impact transactions. Arjan has gained valuable operating experience as CFO and has successfully executed over 75 transactions (funding and M&A) in various industries. Besides that he has made several angel investments. Prior to founding Goldfish, he was a partner at IMPROVED Corporate Finance, worked on the M&A department at KPN and has been a Director at First Dutch Capital. Arjan has filled numerous roles a CFO and operator including BridgeFund, iwell and Middistrict.
